Denia International Bridge Club

Atour Monday and Wednesday duplicate sessions we have the lowest table money 2 euros for members, 4 euros for visitors and yet the most prizes of all the major bridge clubs in the area.  We meet at the Casa Holanda, next to the Club de Tenis.  Start time 16:30 and if you need help finding a partner, phone Kees on 965 785 387.

The HELP Charity Shop, La Xara

Oils Club

Meets Wednesday afternoons in the Hostal Cristina Denia.  If you are a wannabe artist and have always wanted to 'have a go' with oils, give Hanka a call on 966 408 036.  There is no need to go out and buy stuff, jut roll along first and have a dabble.

HELP of Denia

HELP of Denia is a volunteer group in the Denia and district area, providing support in emergencies such as accidents, etc when medical services are involved, and we also provide support for carers.  We always need volunteers prepared to help with home visits and neighbourly support.  Those who have some knowledge of Spanish are particularly needed.  HELP volunteers are sited in the main entrance of Denia hospital from Monday-Friday between 11:00-14:00.  Interpreters are only available through the doctors on Saturday/Sunday 10:00-16:00, and fees may be incurred during these times.  Details are available at the hospital.  Volunteers visit non-Spanish speaking patients in hospital on Tuesday and Friday afternoons to offer support where needed.  Medical equipemnt such as walking frams, wheelchairs, cruthches, bath seats, etc are available on loan from the HELP charity shop in La Xara during opening hours Mon-Sat 9:30-13:30 (Sat 13:00) Tel: 966 427 044.  The general contact telephone numbers are Mavis on 966 421 434; Joy on 965 787 276; or visit our website at www.helpofdenia.com  We also buy special beds for health centres in the area, and we update the medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, that is available on loan.  Your support in invaluable and on day you may need us!

Denia International Rotary Fellowship Club

The Rotary International Fellowship Denia is a fellowship for current and past members of Rotary or any other service organisation, their spouses, partners and guests.  We usually meet for a lunch on the first and third Tuesday of each month, except in the summer, at Ticino Due, 24 C Avenida Joan Fuster, Denia, 1.30 for 2 pm. We members are multi-national, some live here full time, others attend when here on holiday, the meeting language is English.  If you would like to attend please phone 96 574 8909 by the prior Sunday to advise names and numbers.  We look forward to seeing you.

Denia Craft Club
